This is an important reminder from Ronceverte Elementary School. Please hold:
The wrong time was listed for the Veteran's Day Program at Ronceverte Elementary on yesterday's calling system. The program actually starts at 1:00 p.m. The luncheon is still at 12:15, but the program starts at 1:00 p.m.; not 1:30. Sorry for the confusion!
Thank you!

Greenbrier County Schools reminds families that schools will be closed on Friday, November 10, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.

This is just a reminder that Ronceverte Elementary School will be having their annual Veteran's Day Program on Thursday, November 9, at 1:30. If your child has invited a veteran to attend the program, please tell them to arrive by 12:15 to enjoy lunch prior to the program. We are encouraging students to wear red, white and/or blue on Thursday and to donate $1 to help pay for the veteran's lunches.
Also, if you have any food donations for the Ronceverte Food Pantry, please make sure they are sent to the school on or before Thursday, November 9. All donated items should be non-perishable food items.
Thank you!

Daylight saving time will end on Sunday, November 5. Please remember to turn your clocks back one hour.

November, already?!? Please mark your calendar for these important school calendar dates. Don't forget to regularly check the Events section at greenbriercountyschools.org or our Greenbrier County Schools (WV) mobile app for updates!

Happy Halloween!

Good evening Ronceverte Elementary School Families! Tomorrow is our Halloween Parade to Lewisburg Healthcare Center. Parents/Families are invited to park at Graystone Church and participate as spectators. You may stand along Rocky Hill Road between the school entrance and Lewisburg Healthcare entrance, or we will walk through Graystone parking lot after we exit Lewisburg Healthcare Center. The main entrance to the school will be closed tomorrow afternoon for the safety of our students walking during the parade.
Also, make up pictures for the yearbook for any students that were absent on September 26th, will be on Wednesday, November 1st. If any of these students want to order pictures, the order forms are available in the main office.

It’s Red Ribbon Week! This year’s theme is Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free.
The theme is a reminder that by staying drug-free, you are sending a message to yourself and others about how much you value yourself, your overall health, your community, and your future. One thing’s for sure...by making healthy choices, like staying drug free, you are much more likely to achieve your goals. So aim for the stars! We believe in you. #RedRibbonWeek

Good afternoon Ronceverte Elementary Families. Reminders for our family involvement storybook pumpkins;
Please have your child's pumpkin at school by 8:00 am on Wednesday, October 25th. We will have staff available to help students set up their pumpkins and books. Please make sure your child's name and grade level are on the bottom of their pumpkin. We will leave the pumpkins on display through Spooktacular on Wednesday evening. You may pick them up afterwards.
Also, if you have anymore candy to donate for Spooktacular, please send in with your child tomorrow morning.
