Ronceverte Elementary

EmPower After School students participated in a Carnegie Creative Classroom to learn about the tradition of quilting. They used templates and stencils to create their interpretation of what it means to be Appalachian. Their individual pieces will be stitched together by local fiber artists. The final quilt will be displayed to the public at Carnegie Hall and offered on rotation to the county’s elementary schools.
